Joshua Corbin Adams, 19 of Shannon, was arrested this week after deputies stated he attempted to run from them.
Reports stated that Adams attempted to run from Floyd County Sherriff Corporal Parton and a Floyd County Police officer when they were attempting to make an arrest at a location on Brighton Trail.
Reports added that after being captured officers found a sliver container with a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine.
Adams is charged with possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of law enforcement and three counts of probation violation.
