Jonathan Terell Hampton, 29 of Rome, was arrested at a home on Burnett Ferry Road this week after he allegedly attacked a woman.
Reports stated that Hampton grabbed the victim by the arms, leaving numerous marks. The report added that Hampton then proceeded to kick the victim in the face, leaving visible injury to her right eye.
During the altercation the victim also suffered abrasions to her left upper thigh.
The victim also reported that Hampton sent her text messages that read “if you won’t talk to me one of us wont be breathing tomorrow.
Hampton is charged with battery, terroristic threats and acts and probation violation.
