Deandre Lee Bryant, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after he attempted to elude police while driving intoxicated.
Reports stated that Bryant refused to stop for police despite officers having their lights and sirens on when they tried to pull him over for running a red light. After finally stopping officers said that they found marijuana in the vehicle.
Officers added that when Bryant pulled over he got out of his vehicle and attempted to run away on foot, before finally being captured on Spring Creek Street.
Bryant is charged with obstruction of law enforcement, possession of alcohol by a minor, failure to obey traffic devices, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, driving under the influence and attempting to elude a police officer.
