Jacob Dewayne Douglas, 27 of Silver Creek, who was wanted for an armed robbery, was arrested after pointing a pellet gun at a police officer.
Reports stated that an officer spotted Douglas running from Cricket Wireless on Hicks Drive after responding to an alarm at the store.
While attempting to talk to Douglas, he told the officer he wanted to talk but couldn’t. At that point Douglas started to run away.
Reports stated that as the officer got close to Douglas, who began pulling at his pants, started yelling that he had a gun. It was then Douglas allegedly pulled out what appeared to be a black and pink pistol with an orange tip.
Reports then said that the officer drew his weapon on Douglas and at that point the suspect dropped what was a pellet gun and then got in the ground.
Douglas was charged with obstruction of law enforcement and reckless conduct.
