Police arrested 17 year-old Annel Jacobo Conteras, of Rome, this week after she allegedly lied to police about the whereabouts of a wanted man.
Reports stated that when officers went to the home on South Elm Street Contreras told police that Zachariah Muntain Watkins was not in the home. However, it was discovered that he was hiding in a bedroom.
Contreras is charged with hindering the apprehension of a criminal and obstruction of law enforcement.
Zachariah Muntain Watkins, 20 of Rome, was arrested on two probation violation charges.
