Brandon Lee Ballard, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after being accused of breaking into a home and stealing a wallet with $200 inside from a 79 year-old man with dementia.
Reports stated that Ballard allegedly committed the act on August 9th at a home in Lindale.
Authorities said that a video camera captured footage of Ballard committing the crime.
He is charged with felony first-degree burglary.
