A Floyd County jury found 60 year-old Lester Owensby Pauley, of Cave Spring, guilty on 15 charges this week, three of those were rape. On Wednesday he was sentenced to 100 years in prison by Judge Walter Matthews .
Pauley was sentenced to 25 years consecutive for each rape charge and an additional 25 years for his assault and kidnapping convictions.
Pauley was convicted of three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of false imprisonment, two counts of kidnapping, one count of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated sexual battery, two counts of terroristic threats and acts and the three rape charges.
The jury acquitted him for kidnapping.
Four victims testified against Pauley this week that he abused them in sexual ways. One victim testified that she was not only forced to have sex with Pauley but also had a screwdriver and cellphone shoved down her throat.
The incidents occurred between 2008 and 2014.
