Billy Wayne Brown, 60 of Rome, was arrested on drug charges after he attempted to run from police. Reports stated that when officers pulled Brown over at the intersection of Maple Road and Holly Street they located methamphetamine and three glass pipes.
After a chase, Brown was caught a short time later.
He was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of drug-related objects and obstruction of law enforcement officers.
