Three people were arrested at a home on Ross Street following a search by Floyd County Police. Reports said the resident of the home Jerome Jonathan Means, 37 of Rome, was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, baggies and a glass pipe with suspected meth residue.
Means was charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of drug related objects and two counts of probation violation.
Samuel L Smith, 32 of Rome, was also in the home and charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects.
Jill Marie Witt, 34 of Rome, was charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and possession of drug related objects. A search of Witt’s purse also uncovered numerous prescription medications. She was additionally charged with possession o f a Schedule II and Schedule IV controlled substance.
