Pamela Jane Gibbons, 47 of Rome, was arrested over the weekend after reports said she hit an elderly woman in her breast. Reports went on to say that after hitting the woman she attempted to take the victim’s telephone.
Reports said that a child was present during the alteration, leading to additional charges.
During her arrest, officers said that she kicked them in the shins several times.
Gibbons is charged with abuse , neglect or exploitation of a disabled or elderly persons, obstruction of an officer, obstructing or hindering persons making an emergency telephone call, simple battery, public drunk and third-degree cruelty to children.
