Four men accused of robbing a young couple in June are now facing an additional charge of participating in gang activity.  Reports said that Jakhymbai Patrick Johnson, 17, Keshawn Marquise Neal, 18, Tamar Tremayne Daniel, 18,  were participating members of the Gangster Disciples, and Tanace Terrell Newsome, 20,  was affiliated with the Bloods gang, during the robbery.

A Floyd County man and woman were robbed at gunpoint on Tiger Lane on Friday afternoon.  Reports said that two black men got into the back of a vehicle and pointed a gun at one of the victim’s head and demanded their money and cellphones.

The victim said that the two males then jumped into a car and fled the scene with two other men.

Reports said that the victim followed the getaway vehicle until police were able to locate them on Alma Drive, where all four suspects were arrested. Reports said that officers called for backup after family of the suspects caused issues.

Police said that a search of the vehicle uncovered a reportedly stolen gun and large amounts of marijuana and prescription medication.

Keshawn Marquise Neal, 18 of Rome, is charged with armed robbery, theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of purchase, possession, distribution or sale of marijuana.

Tanace Terrell Newsome, 20 of Rome, is charged with armed robbery, theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of purchase, possession, distribution or sale of marijuana, and drugs not in original container.

Tamar Tremayne Daniel, 18 of Rome, is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, two counts of purchase, possession, distribution or sale of marijuana, party to a crime and drugs not in original container.
