An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is now facing additional charges. Jimmy Lee Brown Jr., 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after calling a woman who had a temporary protective order against him over 250 times. Reports said that Brown continually called the victim between May 8th and June 12th with the intent to harass and intimidate them,
Brown is now charged with five felony counts of aggravated stalking.
According to jail records, Brown was also charged with influencing a witness, aggravating on May 4th.

Jimmy Lee Brown Jr., 50 of Rome, found himself behind bars over the weekend (January 1, 2016) after a woman said he repeatedly hit her in the face and pulled her hair. The victim added that when she tried to notify authorities he yanked her telephone away.
The victim also reported that he would not let her leave the room and then later told police that she was not in the home, when in fact she was.
Brown was charged with felony false imprisonment, misdemeanor family violence battery, interfering with a 911 call, public drunkenness and obstruction of law enforcement.
