Julius Winfrey Peek, 74 of Cedartown, has been arrested and charged with sexual assault. Reports said that Peek allegedly forced himself upon the victim and proceeded to inappropriately touch her.
The incident was reported on June 16th and following an investigation the arrest was made on June 21. He is charged with misdemeanor sexual assault and probation violation.
Reports said that Peek was also arrested in 2009 in Walker County as the result of a sex sting operation. He was charged with misdemeanor sexual assault.
