A Sonoraville High School student was airlifted from the school on Tuesday after she fell from a semi-trailer. Reports said that the student, who is part of the school’s video production team, was filming a prom crash reenactment scene when the accident occurred.

According to the school, she fell parallel to the ground and landed in the same position.

The student was air lifted to Erlange Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition Tuesday.

Gordon County Fire and Rescue said “As things turned from simulated to real-world, emergency workers were immediate to her aid, stabilizing and providing that fire level of care as they would any other incident. Local and state responders weer all on scene, including a LifeForce helicopter, who was immediately tasked to fly her to the trauma center at Erlanger.”
