Floyd County Sheriff Deputies said that they arrested 23 year-old Carmen Diane Easterwood, of Rome, this week after she attempted to outrun them following a traffic stop. Reports said that the officer initialed the stop because a passenger in the vehicle fit a description of someone who had a warrant.

However, reports went on to say that Easterwood attempted to race off reaching speeds of over 65 miles per hour in a 25 zone.

After a chase, Easterwood pulled over and was arrested. During a search of her, methamphetamine was found in her bra.

She was charged with felony meth possession, attempting to elude a police officer, two misdemeanor counts of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, knowingly driving a vehicle on a suspended, canceled, or revoke registration, driving while her license was suspended or revoked, driving too fast for condition, passing in a no passing zone, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, two stop sign violations, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.
