Terry Leallen Scott, 43 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week to face charges dating back to last year.

Reports said that Scott ran from police and tossed a large bag that contained a methamphetamine lab into the woods.  Officers said that the bag contained chemicals used to make the drug.

Police charged him with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects and obstruction of officers.

Investigators also that that Scott allegedly broke into Allied Foods in Armuchee back in January of this year.  Reports said that he stole over 200 pounds of ground beef and tools.

He is also accused of stealing a utility trailer that contain over $3,000 worth of furniture back in January as well.

Later that month police said he lead them on several chases, one that resulted in him attempting to slam his vehicle into a police car.

Scott is charged with first degree burglary, two counts of attempting to elude police, theft by taking, purchase, manufacture, distribution or sale of a controlled substance, aggravated assault, sale of methamphetamine, obstruction of law enforcement, possession of drug related objects, two counts of reckless driving, two counts of stop sign violations and probation violation.
