A $50 million investment that will result in the addition of 40 new jobs for Rome and Floyd County was announced Monday at the Rome-Floyd Development Authority meeting. Industrial company Ball Metal Beverage Container said that the expansion will increase their specialty packaging capabilities.
Ball produces metal drinking cans and lids for Anheuser-Busch, along with numerous other beverage companies.
Dan Fisher, President of Ball’s North American metal packaging company said that the investment will meet customer demand for their innovative Alumi-Tek bottle.
