Travis Darrell Newberry, 48 of Lindale, was arrested this week after he made contact with a woman who had a protection order against him. Reports said that Newberry went and confronted the victim at the Golden Gallon convenience store on Maple Road.
The victim reportedly asked Newberry asked “Are you seriously here?”
She then reported that Newberry hit her in the face with a lit cigarette. The impact reportedly left a mark on her face.
Newberry is charged with aggravated stalking, influencing a witness and battery.
