A Rome man, Gregory Allen Davenport, has pleaded guilty to robbing an 84 year-old man in the Saddlebrooke Downs subdivision. Reports said that the robbery occurred on May 9, 2015.

Ansley Paige Yarbrough, Davenport’s alleged accomplice, was still being held without bond Tuesday in Floyd County Jail. She is charged with being a party to the crime of armed robbery.

Police have arrested the second suspect in the robbery of an elderly man at his home on Preakness Court. Gregory Allen Davenport, 24 of Rome, was arrested in Polk County and transferred to Floyd County over the weekend. Reports said that Davenport pointed a gun at the victim and escaped with his money and cell phone.

The alleged driver of the get-a-way car, 22-year-old Ansley Paige Yarbrough, of Cedartown, was arrested last week on robbery charges as well.
