A Neo Nazi rally in Rome ended peacefully, despite two arrest of anti-protestors, on Saturday.  An estimated 100 people drove into Rome around 2 pm and was met with hundreds of people promoting peace.

Numerous counter protesters wore t-shirts with the message “Turn your back on hate.”  After trading insults across the street close to 400 anti-protestors turned their backs and stood silent before marching away.  The group met back up at Ridge Ferry Park for a Peace Festival.

The Rome police department held both anti and pro Neo Nazi supporters on the Historic Courthouse side of the street while the KKK and Neo Nazi group spoke over a loud speaker in front of the Floyd County Law Enforcement Center.
