Floyd County Sheriff Deputies arrested 51year-old Gwendolyn Irene Hicks, of Rome, Thursday for allegedly lying to police. Reports said that Hicks told authorities that she had not had contact with Randall Davis, a wanted felon. However, it was later determined that she had exchanged messages with him on Facebook.
Hicks is charged with hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal and willful obstruction of law enforcement.
