Michael Brian Ingram, 32 of Rome, was arrested on Wednesday after police said he attacked a woman that had a protective order against him. Reports said that on March 13 he got into a car with the 33 year-old victim then two days later police were dispatched to a home where Ingram allegedly assaulted the woman. Reports added that Ingram hit the woman, tore up her cell phone and tablet and then proceeded to ram his car into hers.
Police said that the incidents occurred in the presence of two young children.
Ingram is charged with aggravated assault, violation of a family violence order, obstruction of law enforcement, aggravated stalking, two counts of 2nd degree criminal damage to property, battery, cruelty to children, and criminal trespass.
