Robert Joe Higdon, 57 of Homosassa Springs, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he took $1,550 to perform work on a vehicle and never did it. Police said that the victim shipped him a transmission back on April 13, 2015 and it was never fixed or returned.
Higdon is charged with two felony counts of theft by taking.
