Police arrested Kevin Joseph Degraft, 32 of Rome, after he fired a gun and struck the neighbor’s home. Reports said Degraft fired six to eight rounds from his back porch while intoxicated. Several of the bullets struck the home next door said authorities.

Reports went on to say that the bullets caused over $500 in damages to the home. They added that they also almost struck a small child.

Degraft is charged with second-degree criminal damage to property, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and discharging a firearm while under the influence of alcohol
