The GBI crime lab has identified the body found in Calhoun last week as Roy Gerald Brown. Reports said that Brown’s body was found in a wooded area behind Georgia Bank and Trust.
The GBI is continuing their investigation into cause of death.

Calhoun Police confirmed that a fully decomposed body was found off May Street on Friday. Reports said that the remains were located in the woods between Georgia Bank & Trust and May Street.
The body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for identification purposes. Police said that they expect to have more information within the next week.
