Rome police arrested 30 year-old Brandon Carl Porter, Lindale, after he was found with methamphetamine at the Wal-Mart on Cartersville Highway. Reports said that a complainant called police and reported Porter was acting suspicious. When officers arrived they conducted a search of Porter’s car and allegedly found numerous bags of methamphetamine, glass pipes and a digital scale.
Porter is charged with five felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute and four misdemeanor counts of possession of drug-related object
