Floyd County Police arrested Melissa Ann Horelica, 22, at her Turner Road home on Monday after she allegedly used her vehicle as a weapon to attack a man. Reports said that Horelica hit the 23 year-old victim in the face, threatened to kill him and then later struck him with a car, carrying him on the hood of the car for a short distance.
Reports continued that Horelica tore the victim’s shirt, as well as, busting out a window on his vehicle.
A second victim said that Horelica pushed her to the ground when she tried to intervene and help the victim.
The incident allegedly occurred in the presence of two children.
Horelica is also charged with criminal trespass, battery, terroristic threats and acts, and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
