Gordon County authorities have confirmed that two bodies have been recovered in separate retrievals. Reports said that George Treadaway, 64 of Summerville, drove around barricades on Reeves Station Road Saturday December 26 and was carried away by flood waters. The car was found, with a deceased Treadaway still behind the wheel, and pulled from the scene on Monday. The body of 38 year-old Robert John Murray Jr, of Calhoun, was also recovered on Monday from flood water on Self Lake Road off of Yarborough Mill Road.

Calhoun Police added that they are still searching for Sean Patrick McDuffy, 27, who was last seen on December 20, 2015. Family said that he was scheduled to travel to North Carolina and return with the next few days.

He has not been heard from since.
