Alexis Ragan Evans, 33 of Rome, was arrested on Monday after being accused of writing unauthorized checks out of an amount of an elderly lady she had been doing housework for. Reports said that Evans cashed numerous checks over a three week period earlier this year, resulting in the account to be overdrawn.
Evans is charged with felony exploitation of the elderly.
