Chattooga County authorities said that two males and a female were arrested after an investigation into a suspected illegal drug distribution operation. The bust yielded approximately 10 ounces of “ice,”  a common form of methamphetamine; several grams of powder form cocaine; crack cocaine; marijuana; and illegal prescription medication.

When sold at “street level,” the illegal drugs that were seized have a value in excess of $30,000.. Approximately $4,000 cash and a vehicle were seized by law enforcement as a result of the investigation.

Those that were arrested on an array of charges including trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of over a ounce of marijuana and several other charges were:

  • Damien C. Smith age 33 of Summerville
  • Labrenda M. Jones age 49 of Summerville
  • Dominique L. Porter age 32 of Rome
