Daniel Alley Byerly, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he threatened a female family member back on October 16. Reports said that Byerly tossed a female over a table, causing it to break. It went on to say that he then began to kick her before threatening to kill her and her dog. The victim reported that Byerly made her sit on a couch for four hours and would not let me leave.
He is charged with false imprisonment, aggravated stalking, terroristic threats and acts, battery, and criminal trespass.

He was taken into custody Wednesday at the Floyd County Courthouse by sheriff deputies.
