Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader reported that close to 20 marijuana plants were found growing in the Holland area on Tuesday. The sheriff`s department, along with the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Georgia Governor`s Task Force / Drug Suppression all took part in a day-long exercise to find the illegal substance growing in Chattooga County.

Sheriff Schrader said, `In a joint operation with the Sheriffs Office, LMJC drug task force, DNR and Georgia Governors task force flew helicopters over portions of Chattooga County in an attempt to locate and eradicate marijuana. The group found twenty plants in the Holland area. They ranged from 6-8 feet tall. No arrest have been made at this time.`
