According to Floyd County deputy coroner Gene Proctor the death of an inmate at the Floyd County Jail is being treated as a homicide. He said that the victim was found with massive head trauma. Reports said that the inmate was identified as Stephen Rudolph Nalley, age 49, who has been incarcerated in The Floyd County Jail since August 12, 2015 on charges of Burglary- (First Degree- Forced Entry), Aggravated Stalking and a Superior Court Order to serve 7 Months and 27 Days in The Floyd County Jail.
Mr. Nalley was being housed in the O-Block at the Jail.
