Floyd County Police said that someone allegedly lit a bottle of malt liquor with what looked to be kerosene and threw it at the home of Rome Police Department Deputy Chief Travis Goss this week. Reports added that the bottle landed in the driveway and did not cause much damage to the Silver Creek residence.
Detectives collected what was left of the bottle and will send it to the GBI for analysis.
The report said that Goss told officers that he has no idea who would have committed the act.
