The second suspect in the armed robbery of McGowan Jones Pharmacy, Angelis Necole Smith, 28 of Rome, has been arrested. Smith, the alleged getaway driver in the Shannon pharmacy robbery is charged with armed robbery and probation violation.

Michael Edward Jones, 35 of Rome, was arrested last week after being accused of being the gunman. Reports said that Jones did not take any cash, but did allegedly leave with over $800 in prescription medication. He is charged with armed robbery.
