Stephone Dekota Chambers, 51 of Rome, was jailed this week after police said he fired a .22 caliber riffle from out of the front door of his apartment on East 9th Street.
Reports said that the victim was close to 20 feet away when the shots were fired during the dispute.
A search of Chamber’s home led police to find marijuana in his living room on the TV stand.
Chambers is charged with aggravated assault, pointing a gun at another, possession of marijuana, reckless conduct and possession of methamphetamine.
