Jaquan Rashad Glover, 32 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after previously leading police on a chase.
Police said that when they initially attempted to pull Glover over for a tag light being out, he cut through a driveway in an attempt to avoid arrest.
Reports said that it was later found that Glover had been driving with no valid license and a concealed registration. Authorities added that after arriving at the jail he was found in possession of Oxycodone.
Glover is charged with obstruction, attempting to elude police, concealing the identity of a vehicle, driving on a suspended license, crossing the guard line with drugs, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and driving while unlicensed.
