A beloved piece of Rome baseball history is returning to the diamond next season. The Rome Emperors announced the launch of the Rome Braves Theme Night Collection, a tribute to the franchise’s longtime identity that will bring back the original Rome Braves logos and branding for a series of special games throughout the 2027 season.

For more than two decades, the Rome Braves served as a cornerstone of professional baseball in Northwest Georgia, creating memories for generations of fans and becoming a fixture in the community. The team said the Braves name remains an important part of Rome’s baseball heritage and continues to hold a special place in the hearts of local supporters.

“In celebration of that history, the Rome Emperors are proud to introduce the Rome Braves Theme Night Collection, bringing back the original logos and identity that so many fans grew up with and came to love,” the organization said in its announcement.

Beginning Friday, April 16, 2027, the Emperors will take the field as the Rome Braves and will continue the tradition on every Friday home game throughout the season. Players will wear the classic Rome Braves branding as part of the themed nights honoring the franchise’s past.

The revival is designed to celebrate the players, fans and memorable moments that helped shape professional baseball in Rome. The throwback branding will provide longtime supporters an opportunity to reconnect with the team’s history while introducing newer generations of fans to one of the most recognizable eras in local sports.

The Rome Braves name was synonymous with baseball in the community for more than 20 years before the club rebranded as the Rome Emperors. The Friday night promotions are expected to blend nostalgia with the team’s current identity, creating a unique game-day experience throughout the 2027 season.

The announcement signals the organization’s commitment to preserving its history while continuing to build new traditions at AdventHealth Stadium, where memories made under the Rome Braves name will once again be celebrated on Friday nights.
