Journey Community Food Pantry will be distributing groceries on Wednesday, November 4th from 10 a.m. -12 Noon and 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
We have Meat/Deli, Produce, Breads/Desserts and shelf stable items to distribute. Boxes will contain many ingredients for holiday side dishes as well as pork, poultry or beef. For the month of November, we will also be offering a variety of specialty items for clients to choose from: coffees, teas, chocolate ensure, vitamins, a variety of over the counter medications, trash bags, etc.
Clients are encouraged to come early if you need food. Groceries are distributed pre-boxed as a supplement to families experiencing food insecurity.
Please note that the growing food shortage is affecting every pantry. Perishable donations are decreasing and Pantries are having difficulty finding other food to purchase for our clients. As available food decreases over the coming months it may become necessary for Journey to limit our service area as well as the clients we serve.
Client’s MUST bring their photo ID with a copy of their utility bill, or piece of government mail, dated within the past two months to receive food. No junk mail. Address on ID and mail must match.
PLEASE come prepared with the appropriate ID & mail. The photo ID and mail (listed above) have been a requirement for the previous 4 years at JCFP and will continue to be required for the foreseeable future.
You are encouraged to share this ad with families that need food assistance and please remember to let them know what ID and mail they need to bring with them to receive the food.
