Malcolm Jarrard Thompson, 37 of Adairsville, was arrested this week after reports said he stalked a woman and burglarize her Alpine Court home.
Police said that Thompson used a stone to break out the 36 year-old woman’s car windows before shoving out a bedroom window to the home.
After entering the home, Thompson is accused of breaking the victim’s TV.
Police went on to say that Thompson then punched the woman in the face and grabbed her telephone so that she could not call 911.
The incident occurred in front of two small children.
Reports added that Thompson had called the victim 37 times and sent numerous text message, which violated a court order, before going to her home.
Thompson is charged with first degree burglary, aggravated stalking, obstruction of a person making a 911 call, felony criminal damage to property, battery and two counts third degree cruelty to children.
