Alexander Barrett Kensler, 42 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he stalked and attacked a 13 year-old child.
Police said that Kensler violated a court order to stay away from the child when he caused excessive physical and mental pain by choking him.
The alleged incident occurred in front of an 8 year-old child at a home on Rockmart Road.
