Brent Anthony Berry, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to comply with police after being found trespassing at IHOP on Riverbend Drive.
Police said that after arriving at the scene, Berry refused to comply while they were conducting their investigation.
Officers added that Berry had been previously banned from the establishment.
Berry is charged with criminal trespass and obstruction.
