Andrew Wayne Gentry, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a police officer after destroying a woman’s property.
Police said that Gentry pulled the door handle cover off the victim’s car door as well as toilet paper holders.
Gentry then made physical contact of a provoking nature by striking and kicking a police officer.
Gentry is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass, obstruction and probation violation.
