Greater Christ Temple is preparing to launch a new community outreach program aimed at helping individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Rome area.

Beginning November 3, 2026, the church will introduce Least of These Ministries, a community groceries outreach initiative designed to provide assistance to residents who may be struggling to afford groceries and other basic necessities.

The program is intended to serve as a resource for local individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, helping address one of the most basic needs in the community: access to food.

Organizers hope the initiative will connect people in need with additional support while offering a helping hand to neighbors who may be facing difficult financial circumstances.

Greater Christ Temple is encouraging community members, local organizations and media outlets to help spread the word about the program so residents who could benefit from the service are aware of its availability.

Through Least of These Ministries, the church aims to make a positive difference in the lives of local families by providing a community resource focused on food assistance and support for those experiencing hardship.

The launch of the program represents an effort to address food insecurity locally and strengthen community support for residents who may need additional assistance.

Least of These Ministries is scheduled to begin serving the Rome community on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

Additional details about eligibility requirements, grocery distribution procedures, operating hours and the location of the outreach service were not included in the initial announcement.
