The Northwest Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging invites you to attend a free community event focused on dementia education, resources, and support.
Join us for a Dementia Education Event on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Second Avenue Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia. This event is designed for individuals living with dementia, family caregivers, care partners, professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about dementia and available local support.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about dementia-related resources, support services, caregiving information, and ways our community can better support individuals and families affected by dementia. The event is presented in partnership with local dementia-focused organizations and the Rome/Floyd Dementia Coalition.
