Robert Edwin Byars, 51 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he stalked and attacked his wife on Burnett Ferry Road.
Reports stated that Byars violated a court order to stay away from the victim when he allowed her to be in his vehicle. Police went on to state that while on Burnett Ferry Road, Byars used his feet to kick the 33-year-old woman out of his vehicle.
Byars is also accused of biting the victim’s finger, resulting in physical and visible injuries.
Byars is charged with two counts battery and aggravated stalking.
