Zachary Edward White, 45 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he reported a false crime and gave fake information to police.
Officers said that they observed a reckless driver on County Loop Road. The driver continued to operate the vehicle in a reckless manner onto Highway 278 toward Rockmart and then back toward Cedartown. The offender then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
The offender was later identified as Zachary White, and was subsequently apprehended and booked on the listed charges in this report.
