Families from across Northwest Georgia recently gathered at the AdventHealth Gordon Maternity Fair last week to learn about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting resources while connecting with the caregivers who support them throughout their journey to parenthood.
The event welcomed expectant parents, new families and community members for an opportunity to explore maternity services available at AdventHealth Gordon and gain valuable information about caring for both mother and baby before, during and after delivery.
Attendees met members of AdventHealth Gordon’s Women’s Services team, learned about maternity care offerings and connected with clinical experts who shared education and resources designed to support healthy pregnancies and positive birth experiences.
“The maternity fair is an opportunity for families to learn about the services available close to home and build relationships with the caregivers who will be there to support them during one of life’s most important moments,” said Lauren Everett, director of The Baby Place at AdventHealth Gordon.
Throughout the event, families had the opportunity to ask questions, explore available resources and learn more about the comprehensive care provided through AdventHealth Gordon’s Women’s Services program.
The fair highlighted AdventHealth Gordon’s commitment to providing whole-person care for mothers, babies and families by supporting physical, emotional and spiritual well-being throughout pregnancy and beyond.
