Vape Turns Violent: Summerville Man Accused of Hitting Stepchild in the Face, Smashing Woman’s Belongings

Scott Anthon Silvers,36 of Summerville, was arrested this week after reports said he threw a vape at the face of his 15 year-old stepchild.

Reports stated that the vape struck the child in the upper lip, causing a visible injury.

Police added that Silvers also broke a 34 year-old woman’s cellphone and a picture frame by smashing it to the ground.

The incident occurred at a home on E 13^th Street in Rome.

Silvers is charged with simple assault, simple battery, criminal trespass, and 3^rd degree cruelty to children.
