William Leviticus Self, 39 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he checked to see if a woman was telling the truth about her shaving habits.
Police said that during an argument with the victim about whether or not she shaved her genital area, he reached his hands down her pants to feel if she was telling the truth.
Reports said that the incident occurred at a home on Indian River in Silver Creek.
Self is charged with sexual battery.
